  • Mzuzi Group Limited General Website Terms and Conditions of Use;
  • Mzuzi Group Privacy Policy for web, iOS and Android services;
  • Mzuzi Business Listings and Directory Terms and Conditions of Use;
  • Any applicable API, developer, subscription, partner, enterprise, municipal or government service agreement.

3.4 Use of personal data under MLIC is governed by the Mzuzi Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. These Terms do not replace the Privacy Policy.

4. Nature and Status of MLIC

4.1 MLIC is a digital address code and location intelligence reference system designed to help users identify, search, share, register, verify, discover and navigate to physical locations such as businesses, homes, properties, institutions and delivery points.

4.2 MLIC may be used to support digital addressing, business discovery, logistics, delivery, navigation, service access, customer identification, property identification, local commerce, partner integrations and public or institutional service delivery.

4.3 Unless expressly adopted, approved or recognized by a competent public authority, an MLIC is not a government-issued postal address, land title, planning approval, ownership certificate, municipal valuation record, regulatory license or official proof of legal occupancy.

4.4 MLIC does not confer ownership, tenancy, possession, legal title, business licensing rights, exclusive rights over a location, or any public law status in relation to a property or delivery point.

4.5 Mzuzi may assign, generate, modify, suspend, correct, merge, split, reassign, retire or withdraw MLIC records where necessary for accuracy, safety, legal compliance, operational integrity, technical improvement, fraud prevention, duplicate management or system standardization.

5. Eligibility, Account Registration and User Responsibility

5.1 You must have legal capacity to use MLIC services and to enter into legally binding agreements. Where you register, claim or manage an MLIC on behalf of another person or organization, you must have proper authority to do so.

5.2 You agree to provide accurate, complete and current information when creating an account, registering for a MLIC, claiming a record, requesting verification, submitting location details, uploading images or using any MLIC service.

5.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your MLIC and account credentials and for all activity carried out through your account.

5.4 You must promptly update information where a business relocates, closes, changes ownership, changes contact details, changes service lines, or where address or location details become inaccurate.

5.5 Mzuzi may request supporting information to confirm your identity, authority, relationship to a location, business ownership, property interest, institutional authority or other relevant details before approving or modifying an MLIC record.

6. Registration, Claiming and Verification of MLIC Records

6.1 Users may register or claim MLIC records for businesses, homes, institutions, properties, facilities, service points, delivery points or other eligible locations supported by the Platform.

6.2 By registering or claiming an MLIC, you confirm that:

  • The information submitted is true, accurate and not misleading;
  • You have authority to register or claim the relevant location;
  • The MLIC will not be used for fraud, impersonation, trespass, unlawful occupation or misrepresentation;
  • The images, descriptions and contact details you upload do not infringe any third-party rights;
  • You will keep the MLIC record accurate and up to date.

6.3 Mzuzi may use automated checks, manual review, field verification, document review, phone verification, business verification, local authority checks, partner data, user reports or other reasonable measures to verify MLIC records.

6.4 Verification means that Mzuzi has applied its verification process at a particular time. It does not guarantee that the MLIC record will remain accurate, complete, lawful or unchanged after verification.

6.5 Mzuzi may reject, delay, suspend or reverse verification where information is incomplete, inconsistent, disputed, misleading, unlawful, unsafe, duplicated, unverifiable or inconsistent with these Terms.

6.6 Where multiple users claim the same MLIC, business, property, institution or delivery point, Mzuzi may request evidence and may decide the claim according to its internal procedures. Mzuzi may also place the record under review until the dispute is resolved.

7. Location Data, Accuracy and User Responsibilities

7.1 MLIC services depend on location data, user-submitted information, map data, device signals, GPS accuracy, connectivity, satellite conditions, third-party data and other technical factors that may vary from time to time.

7.2 You acknowledge that location data may not always be exact, current, complete or suitable for every purpose. Roads, access points, business entrances, delivery gates, landmarks, building names and routes may change.

7.3 Users should verify MLIC for safety-critical, emergency, legal, financial, high-value, regulated, official or time-sensitive decisions.

7.4 You must not knowingly submit false information, wrong landmarks, misleading property descriptions, fraudulent images, non-existent businesses, unauthorized business claims or incorrect contact details.

7.5 Where any MLIC relates to a private residence, sensitive location, child-related institution, health facility, security-sensitive site or vulnerable person, you must ensure that you have the appropriate rights, permissions and lawful basis to submit, display or share that information.

8. Use of MLIC for Search, Navigation, Delivery and Logistics

8.1 MLIC may be used to support search, discovery, navigation, delivery routing, pick-up and drop-off coordination, business location sharing, service delivery, last-mile logistics and customer support.

8.2 MLIC is a location support tool and does not replace professional judgment, local knowledge, road safety rules, lawful access requirements, delivery confirmation procedures or carrier terms.

8.3 Users, drivers, logistics providers and delivery partners remain responsible for safe and lawful navigation, confirming the recipient or delivery point, complying with traffic rules, respecting private property and avoiding unsafe routes.

8.4 Mzuzi is not responsible for failed deliveries, delays, lost parcels, wrong addresses, inaccessible roads, road closures, weather conditions, security restrictions, user-submitted errors, device errors, network failures, map limitations or third-party courier actions.

8.5 Partners using MLIC for logistics or delivery must maintain appropriate operational controls, insurance, customer verification, delivery records, complaints handling, safety procedures and data protection safeguards.

9. API Access, Developer Use and Third-Party Integrations

9.1 Mzuzi may provide APIs, software tools, data feeds, dashboards or integration services to approved developers, businesses, logistics companies, e-commerce platforms, government bodies, municipalities, institutions and other partners.

9.2 API access is subject to approval, registration, technical documentation, authentication keys, usage limits, pricing terms and any additional developer or partner agreement issued by Mzuzi.

9.3 You must not share API keys, bypass authentication, exceed rate limits, scrape data, reverse engineer the Platform, use MLIC data outside permitted purposes, resell unauthorized data, build competing address databases using MLIC data, or interfere with Mzuzi systems.

9.4 Mzuzi may monitor API usage, suspend API keys, impose rate limits, require security updates, audit partner usage, restrict access or terminate integrations where necessary for security, compliance, payment, misuse prevention or platform integrity.

9.5 Developers and partners must ensure that their applications, websites, systems and services using MLIC are secure, lawful, accurate, properly disclosed to users and compliant with applicable privacy and consumer protection requirements.

9.6 Mzuzi does not guarantee uninterrupted API availability, backward compatibility of all features, or continuous availability of any endpoint, data field, pricing model or technical specification.

10. Commercial Use, Fees and Subscriptions

10.1 Certain MLIC services may be free, paid, subscription-based, usage-based, enterprise-based, sponsored, API-based or subject to separate commercial terms.

10.2 Mzuzi may charge fees for premium MLIC records, business verification, enhanced visibility, sponsored placement, bulk registration, API calls, data services, enterprise dashboards, integrations, support, analytics, logistics support or other commercial features.

10.3 Fees, billing cycles, payment methods, renewal terms, usage thresholds, taxes and cancellation rights will be communicated through the Platform, invoice, service order or separate agreement.

10.4 Unless expressly stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable once a service has been delivered, activated, used, consumed or made available.

10.5 Mzuzi may revise pricing, introduce new fees, discontinue free features, adjust subscription levels or modify service packages by giving reasonable notice where required.

10.6 Users remain responsible for all taxes, levies, duties, bank charges, mobile money fees or other costs associated with their use of paid MLIC services.

12. Intellectual Property and Data Rights

12.1 Mzuzi Group Limited owns or licenses all rights in the MLIC system, including its code structure, naming conventions, databases, software, platform design, search tools, APIs, verification methods, user interfaces, trademarks, logos, documentation, analytics, data models and related technology.

12.5 By submitting content to MLIC, including names, descriptions, images, coordinates, business information, logos, addresses, landmarks, phone numbers and other material, you grant Mzuzi a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, display, verify, distribute, adapt and use that content for operating, improving, promoting and providing MLIC services.

12.6 You retain ownership of content you lawfully own, but you are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit it to the Platform.

13.3 Where you provide personal data relating to another person, business representative, tenant, employee, customer, family member, resident, child, institution or property occupier, you confirm that you have the necessary authority, consent or lawful basis to provide that information to Mzuzi.

13.4 You must not submit private or sensitive information to MLIC unless it is necessary, lawful and authorized. Public display settings should be used carefully, especially for private residences and sensitive locations.

13.5 Enterprise, API, logistics, municipal and institutional partners must implement appropriate security, confidentiality and data protection safeguards when accessing, storing, displaying or using MLIC data.

13.6 Mzuzi may anonymize, aggregate or de-identify data for analytics, service improvement, market insights, planning, product development, reporting and commercial intelligence, provided that such data does not directly identify an individual where required by law.

14. Suspension, Correction, Reassignment and Termination

14.1 Mzuzi may suspend, restrict, delist, correct, merge, reassign, retire or terminate any MLIC record, account, API key or integration where:

  • Information is false, misleading, outdated, duplicated or disputed;
  • The user lacks authority to claim or manage the MLIC;

  • Payment is overdue or commercial terms are breached;
  • Security, fraud, abuse or platform integrity concerns arise;
  • A court, regulator, public authority or lawful request requires action;

14.2 Mzuzi may attempt to notify affected users where reasonable, but may take immediate action without notice where necessary to protect users, the public, partners, the Platform, data security, public safety or legal compliance.

14.3 Termination or suspension does not affect accrued rights, payment obligations, confidentiality obligations, intellectual property rights, data protection obligations, indemnities, disclaimers or limitations of liability.

15. Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability and Indemnity
